My First SAG waiver

Okay, previous posts shows you that I have been aggressively working on the acting aspect of my journey, holding off modeling and designing for a bit. So I've been doing the resume dazzling background work on some indies and features and such. So I wonder when I can move to the next level.

And then last Thursday, it HAPPENS!
I was placed on the cancellation list for ABC's Ugly Betty starring America Ferrera, and what do ya know, a SAG actor cancels, and his benefits were bestowed upon me!



I have earned my first, long awaited, SAG waiver!

Okay, this isn't entirely the next level, but it is a turn in the right direction. All I need is two more of this "bad boys" and to cough up a little over 2k and BAM!! SAG ELIGIBILITY

Step Up 3D

So I booked some background duty in July.
It was For Step Up 3D (yes, 3D)
Directed by Jon Chu & Starring Adam G. Sevani
( co-founders of ACDC)

The first week was only two, very long, days!





After doing a simple mobile shoot with Cellfish in May, I got called in for a mobile texting commercial with them in July, a speaking gig and all. Too bad it wasn't a SAG commerical ... I'm still not eligible!!!

... Followed by more filming at the Brooklyn Navy Yard for SU3D, this time it was fours days straight, for about twelves hours each day!!
In a massive crowd with Dust, Smoke, and Achy Feet ...


... ALL that and NO SAG WAIVERS :-(


... well at least I met Adam Sevani!

I ... VALUE my relationships more than anything in this life. I respect those who do to. I'd like to think I am a positive being ... willing to brush off the negativity and adversity life throws in my direction in order to pursue what I want to become of me.

MY life ... will be, if my calculations are correct, more than acceptable! I see myself as a DRAMATIC actress, and a FASHION designer.

I've whipped up a few prototypes and sketches of my fashions. I have a couple of high school plays and a few background gigs under my belt. However I am aggressively seeking, well, MORE! No worries ...
... my journey is just beginning!
